RTX and Delta Air Lines signed an agreement to expand Pratt & Whitney GTF overhaul capacity at Delta TechOps’ Atlanta facility by more than 30% through 2035, enabling up to 450 engine overhauls p/a.1 Pratt & Whitney and MTU Aero Engines also agreed to lift MTU’s combined GTF capacity to up to 600 shop visits p/a across all models.2 Pratt & Whitney developed additive manufacturing repairs expected to cut process time by more than 60%.3
