Pinc Management Consultancy Pty Ltd director Stephen Pearse, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, noted (08-Aug-2013) travel remains the largest e-commerce category, while also noting the complexity in airline distribution. He said online is now "old hat" and trends and opportunities have moved from 'online' to 'mobile'. He noted, "everyone has a smart phone, with tablet adoption not far behind", with a "sharp increase" expected in this area in coming years.
