Philippine CAB orders airlines to stop overbooking flights

Philippines Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) ordered Phillipines' airlines to stop overbooking domestic flights following a growing number of complaints from passengers who were bumped off their booked services (ABS-CBN News, 22-May-2012). Airlines who do not comply with CAB's order will face a PHP5000 (USD116) fine per passenger denied boarding.
