Philippine Airlines says flag carriers 'will be around for a long time'

Philippine Airlines senior financial advisor Ian Reid, speaking at the CAPA Airline Fleet & Finance Summit 2016, said (03-Mar-2016) flag carriers like Philippine Airlines "have been around for a long time and will be around for a long time." Mr Reid noted: "As an FSC you will never have the cost of an LCC but it is important to keep your domestic market because it improves your market and connectivity."
