Philippine airline industry struggling to remain viable: Philippine Airlines

Philippine Airlines VP for Mindanao, Domingo Duerme, stated the airline industry in the country is struggling to remain viable following the global economic crisis (Sun.Star Davao, 03-Jun-2010).

Philippine Airlines: "Last year, operations of nearly all airlines were bad. Aside from the fuel, there were a couple of events that affected us also...Right now, we are still trying to recover from the last fiscal year.
