Peach to focus international expansion on cities within four hours flying

Peach Aviation CEO Shinichi Inoue stated the carrier's future international network expansion will focus on services within a three to four hour flying time from its Kansai base (Sankei Shimbun, 11-Jun-2011). By Mar-2012, the carrier, formerly known as A&F Aviation Company, will launch international services to Seoul initially, after which is plans to launch services to coastal destinations in China, Hong Kong, Guam and Saipan. By 2013, Peach plans to have a fleet of 10 aircraft. On Kansai Airport's planned LCCT, the carrier stated the simplified facilities are welcome for LCCs to reduce costs. The carrier has previously announced plans to launch services to Sapporo and Fukuoka by Mar-2012, with its first international service to Seoul planned for May-2012.
