Peach handles more than 1.5m pax to date, 10 aircraft at Kansai Airport during summer

Peach CEO Shinichi Inoue, in announcing the carrier's first anniversary on 01-Mar-2013, confirmed (01-Mar-2013) the carrier handled a total of more than 1.5 million passengers to date, adding "we have surpassed our objectives with an average load factor of 76%, on-time departure rate of 83%, and operation rate of 99%." At its Kansai International Airport T2 base, Mr Inoue said he carrier will have a 10 aircraft fleet during 2013 summer "for strengthening our business foundation." Peach company currently owns seven aircraft, and its network has grown to include five domestic routes, three international routes, with a total of 46 daily flights. [more - original PR - Japanese]
