Peach Aviation says HSR remains a strong competitor

Peach Aviation COO Takeaki Mori, at CAPA LCCs in North Asia Summit, said (07-Jun-2016) high-speed rail remains a strong competitor, however increasingly the elderly are turning away from this option to LCCs as it is fast and comparably priced. The growth of the elderly flying as opposed to taking other options is increasing rising in trend according to Mr Mori.
