Oslo Gardermoen Airport inaugurates new arrivals hall

Avinor confirmed (02-Sep-2016) the opening of Oslo Gardermoen Airport's new 15,000sqm domestic arrivals hall on 01-Sep-2016. The hall also increases the number of baggage belts from eight to 13. Avinor plans to develop the old domestic arrivals hall to become the new international arrivals hall. Oslo Airport MD Oyvind Hasaas commented: "We are in a phase with a lot of construction work being done in different parts of the airport. This will be ongoing until the opening in Apr-2017, and we will do our best to shelter passengers from all kinds of noise. Of course, we hope this affects the airport operation as little as possible". [more - original PR]
