OMV commences SAF supply to Austrian Airlines

Austrian Airlines announced (12-Apr-2022) OMV commenced the supply of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to the carrier at Vienna International Airport in Mar-2022. As previously reported by CAPA, the companies signed a supply contract in Dec-2021. The SAF is produced at OMV's Schwechat Refinery by co-processing used cooking oils in the fuel production process.
