Oman airports handle 7.2m pax in first five months of 2019

Oman's National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) reported more than 7.2 million passengers passed through Muscat Seeb International Airport, Salalah International Airport, Duqm International Airport and Sohar Airport from Jan-2019 to May-2019 (Muscat Daily, 31-Jul-2019). Other highlights include:

• Arrivals: +5.7% year-on-year;
• Departures: +7.1%;
• Muscat Seeb Airport: 6.6 million passengers and 47,104 flights;
• Salalah Airport: 514,446 passengers and 4,358 flights;
• Sohar Airport: 108,047 passengers and 970 flights;
• Duqm Airport: 23,371 passengers and 252 flights.
