Oman Air's organisational restructuring was part of a broader strategy to address financial challenges and improve operational efficiency. The airline reduced its fleet from 52 to 45 aircraft to cut operating costs amid continuous financial losses, aiming to decrease losses by 15% in 20231. The restructuring plan, approved by the board, also involved reorganisation of the executive team and board, and integration efforts with local aviation companies2.
