OAG: global airline capacity up 3% y-o-y in Nov-2009; Middle East +23%. Asia +8%; Latam +13%
OAG stated (16-Nov-2009) capacity growth by the world's airlines rose 3% year-on-year in seat capacity and +1% in frequencies in Nov-2009. The low cost sector showed an 8% growth in both seat capacity and frequency, accounting for 424,458 flights (18%) and 62.6 million seats (22%). Details include:
