"Nothing is decided" on international partner for JAL

Japan Airlines stated "nothing is decided" regarding a selection of an international airline partner (ie Delta Air Lines or American Airlines), stating reports that the carrier has decided to remain with American Airlines/Oneworld are "based on speculation" (AFP, 09-Feb-2010). Reports have speculated that the carrier's new management team have expressed a negative view on forming an alliance with Delta and switching to the SkyTeam Alliance (The Yomiuri Shimbun/Asahi Shimbun, 09-Feb-2010). A decision will be made by the carrier by mid-Feb-2010.
