Norwegian and Strawberry's collaboration on the 'Spenn' digital currency followed their agreement on a shared platform for their loyalty programmes, completed on 14-May-2024, with plans for a market launch in 2H20241. Initially announced in Jun-2023, the joint venture's structure was adjusted to ensure that most of the loyalty programmes' value remains with each company2 3. The venture is co-led by Norwegian's former EVP for market and customers, Christoffer Sundby4.
