No cancellations, only deferments, by Chinese airlines: Boeing

Boeing stated it has received no cancellations of aircraft orders from Chinese airlines, with "only minor adjustments in deliveries", as Chinese carriers pursue cost-cutting initiatives in response to the weak international travel demand (Reuters/Dow Jones, 15-Oct-2009).

Boeing: "We've seen no cancellation in China...and there's very minor adjustment in deliveries this year, mainly because the domestic market is still growing at a very fast pace, and we're quite optimistic about growth," John W Bruns, VP Commercial Airplans China. Source: Dow Jones, 15-Oct-2009.
