Nigerian domestic carriers handle 5.1m pax in 1H2019, international carriers handle 2m

Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority reported (09-Aug-2019) the following operational highlights for the period Jan-2019 to Jun-2019:

Domestic airlines (nine in operation):
- Flights operated: 30,043;
  - Flights delayed: 16,429 (54.7%);
  - Flights cancelled: 241 (0.8%);
- Passenger numbers: 5.08 million;
International airlines (30 in operation):
- Flights operated: 7640;
  - Flights delayed: 2421 (31.7%);
  - Flights cancelled: 55 (0.7%);
