Newcastle Williamtown Airport CEO outlines scope for expansion

Australia's Newcastle Williamtown Airport CEO Paul Hughes, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, stated (09-Aug-2013) expanded services in at the airport would relieve some capacity pressure at Sydney Airport. Mr Hughes said Newcastle Airport could expand to five million passengers p/a within current RAAF constraints and better land transport would increase the airport's market base.
