New Jazeera Airways terminal inaugurated at Kuwait Airport

Kuwait's Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah inaugurated (15-May-2018) Jazeera Airways' dedicated terminal at Kuwait International Airport on 15-May-2018. The terminal is the first in the Middle East to be owned, built and operated by a private airline. The terminal will commence commercial operations on 22-May-2018 and is expected to reduce congestion at the airport's main terminal. Features of the new 4750sqm terminal include:

  • Capacity for 2.5 million passengers p/a;
  • Baggage processing capacity of 1200 per hour;
  • Four gates;
  • Single security check for departing passengers;
  • 12 check in counters, two car park check in counters and one fast track check in counter;
  • Parking annex with capacity for 350 cars;
