Myanmar Airways International planning international expansion in 2019

CAPA - Centre for Aviation, in a report entitled: 'Myanmar airlines: consolidation arrives; MAI & Air KBZ to expand', stated (12-Feb-2019) Myanmar Airways International aims to commence five new routes and increase international passenger numbers by 17% year-on-year to 395,000 in 2019. The airline is keen to expand in China, which is Myanmar's largest and fastest growing source market.
