Moscow Vnukovo Terminal A phase II to open on 18-Dec-2012

Russia's Moscow Vnukovo International Airport stated (17-Dec-2012) its new Terminal A will cover 270,000sqm and include 31 aerobridges, 154 check-in counters, 58 passport control counters and around 30,000sqm of commercial area supporting around 24 cafes/bars, 23 shopping outlets, five bank branches and more than 200 vending outlets. The terminal will have capacity for 8100 passengers per hour, increasing the airport's annual capacity to 30 million passengers. Work on the project commenced in Feb-2006, with phase II of the project to be opened on 18-Dec-2012.
