Italy's Milan Malpensa Airport announced the following traffic highlights in Aug-2011:

Passenger numbers: 2,027,769, +0.2%;
- Domestic: 391,045, +4.9%;
- International: 1,614,386, -2.2%;
Cargo volume: 30,491 tonnes, +2.7%;
Aircraft movements: 17,604, -1.6%;
- Domestic: 3444, +2.1%;
- International: 14,160, -2.5%.
