Metropolitan Airports Commission releases its long-term plan for Minneapolis-St. Paul

Metropolitan Airports Commission released its long-term Master Plan for Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, covering four five-year phases (myfox9.com, 20-Jan-2010):

  • Phase 1 (2010-2015): Expand Humphrey Terminal and relocate airlines - USD380-445 million;
  • Phase 2 (2015-2020): Modernise and expand Lindbergh Terminal, including a new international arrivals facility - USD810-960 million;
  • Phase 3 (2020-2025): Complete expansion of Humphrey Terminal, balancing passenger loads between the two terminals - USD620-735 million;
  • Phase 4 (2025-2030): Construct crossover taxiways and access road improvements at Lindbergh Terminal - USD190-225 million.
