Melbourne Tullamarine Airport pax up 6% in Jan-2016

Melbourne Tullamarine Airport reported (19-Feb-2016) a 6.3% year-on-year increase in passenger numbers to 2.9 million in Jan-2016, including a 4.6% increase in domestic passengers to 2.1 million and a 10.6% increase in international passengers to 876,980. Melbourne Airport CEO Lyell Strambi said: "New services, increased frequency and aircraft upgrades are all helping to drive growth in international passengers at Melbourne Airport.
