Melbourne Tullamarine Airport pax up 4% to 2.8m in Apr-2016

Melbourne Tullamarine Airport reported (23-May-2016) a 4% year-on-year increase to 2.8 million passengers in Apr-2016, including a 2.7% increase to 2.0 million domestic passengers and a 8.3% increase to 733,192 international passengers. Melbourne Airport CEO Lyell Strambi said: "Recording 9 million international passengers over 12 months for the first time is a significant milestone for our airport. The previous highest number of passengers was 8 million between December 2013 and November 2014".
