Melbourne Airport: We've 'been very pro-airline alliance'

Australia's Melbourne Airport executive GM corporate & aeronautical development Nathan Agnew, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, stated (09-Aug-2013) Melbourne Airport has "been very pro-airline alliance," and that the airport's role is to respond to consumer demand. Mr Agnew said: "It's all about consumer choice, and we don't see ourselves as an airport as having any part in what consumers want to do."
