Melbourne Airport 'vigorous' on integration of low cost terminal

Australia's Melbourne Airport executive GM corporate & aeronautical development Nathan Agnew, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, stated (09-Aug-2013) said the airport's proposed low-cost terminal "will be integrated into our other terminals. And that was something we were very vigorous on in our design." Mr Agnew added "we did want them [passengers] to get a sense they were getting the full airport experience." Mr Agnew also said the airport sees low-cost travel being "the high growth segment of the domestic market."
