Martinair to takeover all Air France-KLM freighters

KLM subsidiary, Martinair, announced it will take over all freighter aircraft operated by Air France-KLM over the next two years (Transport Journal, 15-Sep-09). The deal includes 19 widebody aircraft, mostly B747-400ERs and a B777F. Upon the completion of the aircraft transfer, Martinair will be the largest provider of airfreight capacity worldwide, and Air France Cargo and KLM Cargo will market cargo capacity on passenger aircraft only.
