Malta International Airport revenue up 1% in 2012, handles 3.7 million pax

Malta International Airport reports (20-Mar-2013) the following financial highlights for the 12 months ended Dec-2012:

  • Revenue: EUR52.8 million, +0.8% year-on-year;
    • Airport: EUR38.3 million, -2.3%;
    • Retail and property: EUR14.1 million, +11.8%;
  • Profit before tax: EUR19.4 million, +3.2%;
  • Net profit: EUR12.5 million, +5.0%;
  • Passenger numbers: 3.7 million, +4.1%;
  • Cargo volume: 16,489 tonnes, +1.6%;
