Malta Airport pax drops 50.5% in Aug-2021, compared to Aug-2019

Flughafen Wien AG reported (14-Sep-2021) the following traffic highlights at Malta International Airport for Aug-2021:

  • Passengers: 407,435, -50.5% compared to Aug-2019;
  • Cargo: 1400 tonnes, +6.9%;
  • Aircraft movements: 3796, -29.3%.

The airport handled 1.1 million passengers in the eight months ended Aug-2021, down 21.1% year-on-year. [more - original PR]
