Malaysia Airports plans to raise USD120 million from share placement

Malaysia Airports Holdings is reportedly planning to raise approximately USD120.6 million from a share placement (Bernama, 12-Mar-2010). The company is offering 85.15 million existing shares, or 7.7% of its issued share capital via a bookbuilding process. Khazanah Nasional conducted the divestment via placement for approximately USD120.7 million. The placement was marketed to institutional investors and priced at USD1.40, representing a discount of approximately 4% to the closing price on 12-Mar-2010, which was at USD1.50.
