LVCVA: Partnership with Las Vegas airport has made Las Vegas most successful destination in US

Las Vegas Convention & Visitor Authority president & CEO Rossi Ralenkotter, speaking at CAPA Americas Aviation Summit 2016, stated (11-Apr-2016) Las Vegas accommodated a record-breaking 42.3 million visitors in 2015, of which 43% travelled by air. Mr Ralenkotter said Las Vegas has a "diversity of product," with its success driven by reinvention and innovative thinking. The authority's partnership efforts with Las Vegas McCarran International Airport has made Las Vegas the most successful destination in America, and is a "very, very successful partnership," Mr Ralenkotter said.
