Lufthansa Technik and National Air Services sign cooperation agreement

Saudi Arabia's National Air Services' (NAS) technical division, NAS-Tech, signed (16-Aug-2010) a cooperation agreement with Lufthansa Technik. The agreement is designed to enhance joint cooperation regarding the transfer of knowledge advanced technology in engineering and maintenance. Under the agreement, Lufthansa Technik will maintain NAS aircraft engines, maintain aircraft equipment and instruments for a period of 10 years and oversee the NAS-Tech's implementation of Lufthansa Technik's technical specifications and standards in aircraft maintenance.
