Lufthansa’s centenary livery programme began with a Boeing 787-9 delivered in the commemorative scheme, scheduled to enter service in Jan-2026.1 2 Lufthansa later added two more aircraft to the special-paint plan, including an A320neo due in Frankfurt on 19-Jan-2026 and an A350-900 due in Munich on 03-Feb-2026, with an A380, 747-8 and A350-1000 also slated for the livery by autumn 2026.3 Lufthansa also planned to start an A380 cabin refit programme at Elbe Flugzeugwerke from Feb-2026, with the first refurbished aircraft returning to service in Apr-2026.4
