Lufthansa Group projected net capital expenditure of approximately EUR2.9 billion in 2026 and forecast adjusted free cash flow of around EUR0.9 billion, while flagging EUR1.7 billion of additional 2026 costs from higher kerosene prices and plans to offset these via higher ticket revenue, network optimisation and further cost savings.1 It also warned that potentially reduced fuel availability later in 2026 represented an added risk factor.1
