Lufthansa Cargo began marketing ITA Airways' cargo capacities from Jun-2025, integrating Rome Fiumicino as its fifth European hub and increasing global belly capacities by approximately 20% for its customers. Initially, Lufthansa Cargo marketed capacity under its own AWB prefix from São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires to Rome, with a gradual transition to unified marketing across all ITA routes1 2.
