Lufthansa appoints Simone Menne as CFO

Lufthansa announced (07-May-2012) the appointment of Simone Menne as CFO and to the executive board of Deutsche Lufthansa, effective 01-Jul-2012. Ms Menne succeeds Stephan Gemkow who is stepping down from the role from 30-Jun-2012 to takeover as CEO of the Haniel Group. Ms Menne was most recently CFO of British Midland and her contract with Lufthansa runs until 30-Jun-2015. [more - original PR]
