LOT Polish Airlines dismisses CEO citing airline’s performance

LOT Polish Airlines' supervisory board announced (13-Dec-2012) it dismissed CEO Marcin Pirog citing the airline's performance under his leadership. Mr Pirog will be replaced on an interim basis by CFO Zbigniew Mazur. The supervisory board said it is still confident the airline's existing turnaround plan will lead to "profitability in a very short time and will bring stabilization". [more - original PR]
