LOT likely to conduct capital increase in 2010

LOT stated it plans to select an adviser as soon as next week to advise on its proposed capital increase, with the carrier yet to decide on the form of the capital increase (Reuters, 12-Aug-09). The capital increase will likely take place in 2010 with options including selling a stake to another carrier or financial investor or even floating the 80-year-old airline on the stock exchange.
