Los Angeles City Council approves expansion for LAX

Los Angeles City Council approved a USD1.5 billion expansion project for Los Angeles International Airport's Tom Bradley International Terminal (Daily Breeze, 14-Oct-2009). The project, dubbed "Bradley West," will expand the terminal by 1 million sq ft and will construct nine new airline gates large enough to house A380s equipment. The project is scheduled for completion by 2013.
