Longjiang Airlines expects to receive first aircraft in Apr-2016, commence operations in Jun-2016

Longjiang Airlines stated (08-Apr-2016) its first aircraft, an A321, is expected to depart from Airbus' Hamburg assembly line on 18-Apr-2016 and arrive in Harbin on 18-May-2016, ahead of its official launch in late Jun-2016, according to Heilongjiang Airport Management Group. The carrier plans to operate four domestic routes initially, including Harbin-Xian-Chengdu, Harbin-Yiwu-Nanning, Harbin-Guangzhou-Shenzhen and Harbin-Beijing. Longjiang Airlines plans to introduce four to five A320/A321 aircraft in 2016 and a further six aircraft in 2017, with the aim of operating to all major domestic cities within three years.
