UK and European airports had rolled out CT/EDS C3 screening that let passengers keep liquids and large electronics in cabin bags, with some sites lifting the 100mL limit to two litres (e.g. Edinburgh and Rome Fiumicino).1 2 Dublin eased its rules from 19-Sep-2025 after deploying about 30 C3 scanners, while London Stansted also deployed new scanners and progressed wider security-area works.3 4
