Loganair temporarily reduced Inverness-Stornoway and Inverness-Kirkwall-Shetland Islands frequencies from 19-Jul-2026, with CEO Luke Farajallah citing sustained losses and rising fuel, repair, airport fee and route charge costs, and said frequency could rise again from Oct-2026 subject to funding.1 Loganair’s winter 2026/27 schedule still marketed more than 40 destinations across 70 routes, including services from bases such as Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Southampton.2
