Loganair planned to increase the number of seats available at Southampton by over 140,000 per annum with two ATR 72-600 aircraft and aimed to enhance service efficiency to southern mainland and island communities with its 10th UK base, scheduled to formally open in Mar-20261. New Southampton-Manchester and Manchester-Exeter routes were set to launch in late Oct-2025, with further frequency increases by Mar-20262 3.
