Lion Air launches full service subsidiary Batik Air on 25-Apr-2013

Lion Air launched its full service subsidiary Batik Air on 25-Apr-2013 at Soekarno-Hatta Airport's terminal 3 with the carrier to launch commercial operations on 03-May-2013 (The Jakarta Post/Indo Aviation, 25-Apr-2013). Batik will operate twice daily Jakarta-Manado services from 03-May-2013, using Boeing 737-900ER equipment, with a second 737-900ER to arrive on 04-May-2013 allowing the carrier to operate Jakarta-Pekanbaru services.
