Lima Jorge Chávez International Airport launched a commercial incentive policy to encourage airlines to open new routes, targeting both incumbent operators in Peru and prospective entrants, with the airport hosting 24 airlines serving 67 destinations at the time.1 LATAM Airlines Peru later confirmed multiple Lima route suspensions and cancelled planned launches for 1Q2026, with CEO Manuel van Oordt attributing the decision to the Unified Airport Use Fee for international transfers introduced on 07-Dec-2025.2
