The new terminal at Lima Jorge Chavez International Airport opened after an investment exceeding USD2.4 billion, tripling the size of the previous facility and expanding capacity to 40 million passengers per annum. The former terminal ceased commercial operations upon the opening of the new facility, which covers 935 hectares1. The opening experienced several postponements, with the operational start date ultimately set for 01-Jun-20252.
