Background ✨
Leonardo's Aerostructures improvement had already been evident in 1H2026, when revenue rose 44% and EBITA nearly doubled on higher Boeing 787 and ATR volumes and better capacity utilisation, while orders also increased sharply across the Aeronautics segment1. In 1Q2026, Aerostructures revenue rose 48% year-on-year despite lower orders, supported by higher 787 and ATR activity and continued Airbus, ATR and Boeing demand2.
