LATAM Airlines implemented 100% electric ground support equipment at Easter Island Mataveri International Airport, adding six electric vehicles to replace all its ground equipment on the island1. At GRU Airport, cargo director Paulo Souza said the airport introduced five new forklifts and replaced 30% of gas-powered cargo-terminal equipment with sustainable models2. LATAM Cargo also expanded its GRU cargo terminal e-commerce area by 47%3.
