LanzaJet operated the world's first commercial-scale facility producing jet fuel from ethanol at its Freedom Pines Fuels site in Georgia, developed with an investment exceeding USD300 million. The facility demonstrated the viability of LanzaJet's Alcohol to Jet technology, using waste-based and recycled ethanol feedstocks, and is intended to serve as a model for future sustainable aviation fuel production globally1.
